Meet The Teacher
Chelsey Goodman
From a young age, Miss Goodman’s heart beat to the rhythm of dance. Her journey began at age 10, immersing herself in a diverse array of styles including Freestyle Disco, Slow/Lyrical, Street, Cheer, and Rock ‘n Roll. Throughout her formative years, she honed her skills through competitions, examinations, and performances, all while pursuing a degree in Performing Arts Dance.
Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a love for teaching, Miss Goodman expanded her repertoire to include ballet, jazz, contemporary, and street dance during her college years. Even amidst her studies, she remained dedicated to her craft, regularly training and lending her expertise to a private dance school and competitions.
But Miss Goodman’s passion doesn’t stop at dance – armed with a degree in Young Children’s Learning and Development, she brings a holistic approach to her role as Franchise Owner and Location Manager at Phoenix Dance Academy. With a BTEC diploma and GCSE in dance, she’s not only a skilled instructor but also a nurturing mentor who believes in empowering students to reach their fullest potential.
